Day 996

Confusion can be very unsettling. For my Goldens, it is a passing feeling, as their every need or concern is met with the comfort of their humans. Still, the look they have touches my heart and resonates with moments when I have dealt with confusion.

Of course, there are the normal confusions of life…occupation, relationships, how many dogs and other big decisions that come along. However, it’s the little, daily confusions that can be the most upsetting. Although they only last for a few moments, they can stop life’s flow. Should a doctor be seen, are the roads safe, is that “car noise” normal are all real conundrums. Decisions must be made both efficiently and intelligently. My biggest problem is a lack of the ability to do just that!

There are moments when my confusion about a direction to move dissipates instantaneously. Speed is of the essence! However, other times, I make a list of pros and cons, ask advice from those I trust and then ruminate TOO LONG. Taking into consideration every detail and all those who might be affected is my downfall and only adds to my confusion.

My goal…continue to take into consideration all the information and be more decisive! It’s a process… until my Goldens need something! Then, it only takes me a heartbeat to drop the confusion!
