Happy National Golden Retriever Day!! What a wonderful day to celebrate the dogs in my life!

We have loved every single dog that has joined our family! From Shetland sheepdogs, border collies, rough collies. Maltese, Shih-tzu to Goldens, our hearts have adored each and every one! With our Golden it seemed that, although we didn’t love them more, we connected to their very souls in a deeper way!

These dogs have compassion, empathy, kindness, love and a gentle spirit. They need to be with us without question and share their gentle spirits constantly.

My dearest friends possess many of those same qualities and I count my blessing for those Golden-like spirits that fill my life with smiles.

So, today, we celebrate Golden retrievers and the people in our lives who live the Golden life! We are so blessed to be the recipients of all that love!
