Day 821

Sometimes, you need a little support from time-to-time! Gus, our “Fragile Flower," will often require some prodding to eat. Asher is just the guy to make that happen! Gus and Sam adore him and will do whatever he asks!

We all need a bit of support now and then. That is no secret. The big challenge is to ask for help…or at least accept it when it is offered. Both are foreign to many of us. For me, asking for help is not a matter of pride, but I simply hesitate to bother anyone.

Typically, the only way I will accept support (physical or emotional) is to reflect on the feeling I get when someone allows me to help them. It is a way to connect to others and it warms my heart. With that in mind, I will find gratitude for helping hands or hugging arms.

Asking for help is still a challenge for me. We are all a work in progress, so I will add this to my list of growth opportunities!

The Goldens can’t verbalize their need for help, but one look brings us on the run…especially Asher!
