There are people in your life who have earned your trust and devotion. Through life's challenges, ups and downs, good times and "not so good," they stand true and strong by your side. Truly, truly...the individuals I trust have enriched my life beyond measure.

How do you build trust like that? For me, it is a two-way street. Based on continual support, empathy, honesty, devotion and love, these stalwarts of our lives are there for us. In return, we offer back all that we receive with gratitude and a reflection of the gifts they offer. It is a two-way street.

Of course, I look to my Goldens when thinking about devotion. They are the Poster Children for Trust.

As I think about those amazing people who I have come to trust, my heart is full. To reciprocate, and earn their trust in return, is a true goal in my life.
