Day 755

"Mommy" was working hard to move a fire pit from Point A to Point B this afternoon. My doggy advisors didn't miss a move I made and often barked advice from the deck! Luckily, the process was downhill, so moving rocks, concrete pavers and sand was not too bad!

There are sometimes (often) complaints from family members suggesting I never sit and enjoy the view. They have a point, and I do sit and gaze at the beauty surrounding me from time-to-time, but there are projects to do and I tend to be designer, foreman and workforce all in one. At least that way you can't complain to the boss!

There is a wonderful feeling when a project is completed. Painting a room, planting a garden, shoveling snow (yikes...too soon!) and other "opportunities" all have a finished product that can be admired. Although I have a tendency to overdo now and then, I thoroughly enjoy looking at the finished job and fe ling a sense of accomplishment!

Now that the fire pit is done, I can sit with my pups and enjoy the beautiful day...wait a minute! Is that bush over there in need of trimming?!?
