Day 500

When our journey began, the plan was simply to share a few glimpses into my daily Walking With Goldens, but here we are at Day 500! Deciding to publish these meanderings, 100 stories at a time, allowed me to go back to the first days. Rereading, editing and revising those memories was humbling and beautiful. The people, places and experiences came back to light and touched my heart.

Each and every memory brought a smile or tear as I remembered the events and individuals touching our lives. These dogs make a difference in a way no human ever could and I was the lucky one on the other end of the leash with a front row seat!

People often ask me why I chose to do the Therapy Dog work and my answer comes from the heart. "It makes the world a better place." Arthur, Lilly, Ranger and even little Nicky touched lives with their sweet, unselfish souls. The decision to jump into this volunteer work has never been in question. I would do it again in a heartbeat!

So now, I start the publishing process again with Days 101 to 200. Hopefully, these books will bring a few smiles and a bit of happiness to people.
