Day 422
Happy Birthday, Sammy!!!! Our youngest turns one today! He was born on my middle daughter's birthday (Amanda), so he is in good company!
When my own two-legged children celebrated birthdays as youngsters, it was quite the event! The themed festivities were tailored to each child and the time of year. We rented a swimming pool, hired a magician, organized a full-blown soccer tournament, visited the Wolf Center, enjoyed hayrides and many other celebrations! The memories are very special!
Now, the kids are grown up, but we still try to let them know how dear they are to our hearts. Even though the exciting childhood parties are now a memory, we still work at letting them know they are treasured.
Birthdays are a time to let that special person know you are glad they were born! There are so many people who enrich my life and birthdays are one time to let them know how special they are and to share that love!
Tonight, we celebrate our Sam. Happy Meals, DQ Pup Cups, presents and a real "Dog Party" will take place! After all, the Goldens need to know they enrich our lives as well!
