Day 311

The ocean...
There are not many 'earthly wonders' that call to me like the ocean. The power, majesty and mystery hold me spellbound. Today, I was able to wander the Pacific shores!
There were many pups on the beach and we made sure to connect with each and every one! Our favorite had to be an adorable bulldog named Mimi. She snuffled up to us, as we sat on a large rock, and proceeded to give us the full bully welcome. As owner and pup wandered off, we found ourselves covered in sand, ocean water and bully kisses left behind...it was worth every watery moment!
Ranger and I had the joy of visiting Mercy with a bulldog named Peach a few years ago. She was big, beautiful and a show stopper! A Golden couldn't compete with her personality, but Ranger would vie for attention, only to get literally butted out of the way. He didn't seem to mind!
The bully today reminded me of Peach in many ways. Her joy for swimming was also reminiscent of our Goldens' love of water. Any amount of liquid, from a puddle to a large lake, is like a target for my pups. They will engage with any natural water source (baths not included)!
I wonder what they would have done at the ocean today. They would have loved it! I know I cherished it enough for all four pups combined!
