Our Sam has had the chance to spend some quality time with his 'litter sister'. I am AMAZED at the ease of rebounding after a month or so. It only took a few minutes and they were playing with zest and affection!

I also had the opportunity to watch our grandson play at a playground recently. There were two little girls who joined him and the same bonding took place. Timid at first, the three youngsters began a rousing game of "tag" and behaved like old friends.

When we had to leave, I asked Asher to thank the girls and say good-bye. When he approached, the younger sister called out, "The Little Guy has to go!" The older sister waved, but the younger one hesitated a brief moment and suddenly ran forward, wrapping her arms around him in a farewell hug. Asher responded with his own embrace. They parted and both moved on... probably never to meet again.

Puppies and little children seem to have the right idea. Accept others as friends and open your heart to the possibilities. Out of the mouths of babes...and puppies!
