Traveling in our Dog Mobile is always interesting. We have had five dogs in the Suburban, so three feels pretty roomy!

Most Minnesotans understand the mystical, magical place called "Up North!" There is a tranquility and beauty in the pines, blue waters and the calling of the loons. We even have a family of foxes that live nearby!

We are fortunate enough to be heading to a family cabin in the Brainerd Lakes area. We love it, but not half as much as our goldens! Water is their passion!

This will really be the first time Gus has been up to the lake. When we entered the back door, the aroma of winter must have greeted his ever-ready nose and he was OFF to the races! Taking the three down to the lake was a rite of spring, revisited through the years.

Well, all three goldens are curled up and ready for us to go to bed. More lake adventures tomorrow!
