Day 943
Sometimes, something happens to renew your faith in the human race! Our son, Jimmy, lost his wallet at Disney late last night and was quite upset at the prospect of going through the steps to secure lost items. This morning, Disneyland called and told him someone had turned it in and he could drive down to pick it up…good people.
We have a friend who runs Old Barkers Farm Senior Dog Sanctuary north of town. When we found a dog in need, she drove down to meet us and bring the sweet senior golden home to the sanctuary…good people.
A friend called me from out west to order 50 copies of my children’s book, “The Child Who Saved the World.” When asked why he needed so many, he said that he and his wife would be delivering them to a children’s hospital in the area accompanied by a teddy bear to go with each book. We sent him the books and he purchased 50 bears…good people.
We were recently at the VA and asked for directions to a particular office. A volunteer heard our request and accompanied us through many hallways and all the way to the appointment…good people.
In a world quick to find fault and negativity, we only need to look for the good in people and we will find it! Not only does it renew our faith in the human race, but it brings more positivity to our very beings!
