Day 836
Our dogs trust us. We have always worked hard at building that trust. There have been a few times when we have inadvertently stepped on a paw or tricked them into taking a shower, but we were forgiven and the trust remained.
There are a number of trusted people in my life. These are individuals who are honest, devoted and reliable in every way possible. They have gained my trust. Once gained, it is hard to fall off that pedestal. I value these dear friends and family… they are true blue.
There are just a few who have risen beyond that trusted group I rely on. These are the people in whom I have faith. Going beyond trust, there are a very few who live their life in a way that is almost humbling to behold. Their goodness, kindness and giving spirit are all lessons I can embrace…always trying to be a better person. They are such a gift to my world.
To be surrounded by people you can trust and have faith in is a treasured part of my life! I find myself striving to be that for others. As the old saying goes, “Please let me be the person my dog thinks I am.”
