Day 761

Spa Day! Today seemed to be the perfect day for Golden Baths! First Sam (he loves it!), then Lilly and Ranger with Gus bringing up the rear. Once bathed, conditioned and towel dried, my four angels gathered in the kitchen to glare at their Very Damp Mama.

Determined to run them through their showers, like a well-oiled machine, they were less than pleased with my antics. Poor babies! Shortly after their baths, they followed me onto the sunroom and snuggled in like nothing had happened. Sweet souls!

Why can't people be that way?

Dogs...

*do not hold grudges.

*forgive without a second thought.

*attempt to please in all situations.

*love no matter what.

We can learn so much from these canine ambassadors who meet humans more than half way to please them and keep the peace. Always wanting to be more dog-like, I will tuck their lesson of acceptance and love into my everyday world.

Now, let's get after those nails...only 64 to go!
