Day 747

My Goldens follow me around relentlessly! Today, there was gardening, carpet shampooing and Walking With Goldens. After all that, I took a bike ride to clear my head and returned to four sleeping dogs. I believe they were exhausted from frantically following my every little movement!

As aging becomes my constant companion, I find it to be easier if I keep moving. If a chair (especially a comfy one) beckons, I am done. So, as I finish one item on the checklist, I have already planned the next task and have one foot forward in that direction.

It would be lovely to clear my brain and have the "To-Do List" of my Goldens:

*Go outside

*Eat

*Follow Mommy

*Nap near Mommy

*Go outside

*Nap near Mommy (If she would stay put!!!)

*Bark out window

*Eat

*Follow Mommy...

Their list is repeated throughout the day. They never seem to get bored, but they DO get tired! I almost feel guilty when they follow my every step...hoping that I will stop moving!

The Goldens are sound asleep at my feet or on the daybed right now. If I could just silently slip away before they realized I was on the move again...no chance of that! That is OK with me! Even though they would rather nap, where Mommy goes they go and I wouldn't have it any other way!
