"Adapt and Overcome" is a common sentiment in our family! From Clint Eastwood in "Heartbreak Ridge" to Jimmy Good on his YouTube channel, this expression holds deep meaning. Clint might be referring to the Marines, but my son embraces the quote as he lives a full life in California.

Lilly certainly lives by the expression. As she ages, it is a challenge for her to jump up, descend stairs or face anything that needs speed! She is a pro at getting what she wants. With a meaningful look, a soft bark or a nudge of the nose, she makes things happen with a little help from her friends.

In this life, we are all handed challenges and encounter obstacles. Everyone has faced an "adapt and overcome" moment in their lives. The difference in people might be that some choose to make the changes while others simply refuse. Digging in their heels rarely works when a new course is necessary. Those who follow a new path will usually head towards brighter days.
