Day 353
Today was one of those spectacular spring days when Minnesotans feel vindicated that they persevered the long, freezing winter! It was the kind of day when you are apt to hear...
"This is why we live here!"
"I don't even mind doing yard work!"
"It's a gorgeous one, dontcha know?"
"I just can't go inside!"
The Goldens felt the same way! As I checked off my outdoor "to-do list," they romped , dug and slept in the sun. Lilly and Ranger even had a mad chase around the gazebo! Although they love snow, I could sense that even THEY were in their glory!
I told my husband that I planned to write Walking With Goldens outside tonight. I confessed that I just couldn't go inside! He laughed and admitted that he was just fine saying goodbye to the fresh air for the day. I responded with, "Well, I can tell you weren't born in Minnesota!"
So, here we sit on the front porch reminiscing about the beautiful day. Lilly, Ranger and I just can't walk through that front door quite yet. Maybe we'll just wait until the stars appear and the moon rises. We three are all true Minnesotans...you betcha!
