School!!!!!

I have been in education most of my life:

*Kindergarten
*First - Sixth at Lincoln Elementary
*6th - 9th at Anoka Junior High
*10th - 12th at Anoka Senior High
*Bemidji State
*St. Thomas University
*University of Minnesota

Goodness! Suddenly I was over 40! No longer a student, at this point I was teaching both 2nd graders and Masters students! That is A LOT OF SCHOOL EXPERIENCE!!!!

So, why am I nervous about taking my puppies to obedience class? As I contemplate that question, I realize that the roles of both student and teacher rest on my shoulders.

Gus has had 10 classes of Obedience, so he should be fine in his new course. Sam is going to be pretty new at this "class experience", so I am going to need real concentration to keep us both on track.

Gus will do great!
Sam will be fine!
I will be a nervous wreck!

One would think that, after over 25 years as a student and nearly 40 years as a teacher, this should be a piece of cake!
