Letters to Santa are always special! Tonight, with the help of Gus and Sammy, Asher dictated a letter to Santa with Nanny acting as Scribe! It was adorable and started out like this:

Dear Santa,
I would like EVERYTHING!
Well, not everything, but about 20 things...

With Christmas trees lighting the room, a puzzle underway, the radio blasting Christmas songs and doggy treat molds ready to be utilized for a QCTV Christmas baking special we are filming on Friday, we are in High Holiday Mode! Thus, the letter to Santa was the highlight of our evening.

If the Goldens were able to write a letter to "Santa Paws", I believe they would simply ask for more time with their humans. A few doggy treats would be nice in their stockings, but they don't want things...only to be with their loved ones.

What a wonderful model for this time of year! Instead of asking for things, why not appreciate the time you have with your loved ones? I am going to try to embrace that sentiment from my pups. I think Santa (Claus or Paws) would be pretty happy with that request!

True heartfelt gifts don't really come in a package, but they come in the gift that is being with loved ones in the present.
