Is there anything more precious than a puppy asleep in your arms? Perhaps, but I can't think of anything right now because I do have a puppy asleep in my arms!

I write this as we travel home with our new baby. Sam is snuggled in for the trip from Kenyon to his new life. Puppy Mama Cassie made the transition smooth and loving. She had a big folder organized to the max and even included all of his baby pictures! This wonderful lady even had a flannel blanket that carried the scent of the other littermates! She is incredible!

Now, home to the other Goldens in the hope of much bonding this evening. All 17-plus pounds of this nine-week-old are ready to love!

I keep looking at him and wondering what he is thinking. Separated from the other remaining pups, he must be anxious.

We all face challenges like Sam, but we can share our concerns with those we love. This little guy has to rely on his new humans meeting his every need:

Food ✓

Safety ✓

Water✓

Warmth✓

Love✓✓✓✓✓✓✓✓✓✓✓

He is going to be just fine!
