Day 1005

There are so many different kinds of love and today, I believe I witnessed most all them!

Starting the day with sweet Asher, he ran across the driveway with such excitement…he had a Valentine’s Day gift for Nanny! Shoving a huge, adorable, stuffed bear into my arms, he gleefully shouted, “This is for you, Nanny! I bought it a LONG time ago and FINALLY, it’s your teddy bear! Do you love it?”

Pure love…

The Goldens surrounded me many times this morning. They had their breakfast, went on a walk and sat at my feet nudging my hands. All the time, love was flowing back and forth.

We dropped off some treats at one senior complex and headed to another with candy kisses in my pocket. As our dear Gus worked his magic, everyone got a chocolate “kiss” and a Golden “kiss.” He even snuggles in with one resident and nearly fell asleep! The joy was spread and the smiles reflected our Golden Boy’s effect on everyone he met.

My dear husband, children and friends shared love with gifts, texts, cards, hugs and so much more!

Pure love…

My heart is full and ready to pour some of that love back into the world again!
